Something Old New Again
You ever have an outfit that is no longer new, but you weren't ready to give it up? Almost a year ago I got this outfit although a year doesn't necessarily make it old, I wanted to sprouse it up a bit. I have been reading about elbow patches recently and thought that it would be pretty. I'm not sure if it worked because I didn't get any compliments, but it was fun to wear. I put these purple sequin patches on the elbow of the sweater.
What have you done to make old things new again?

Inspiration
Here are some new ideas and things I want to remember to help me incorporate new pieces and revitalize old ones in my wardrobe. Most items are from Simply Be, but I just used the pics for ideas. I will not be purchasing them.
Every time it turns cold I forget I like ankle boots and tights on other women and to try it myself.
Black and white never fails
A reminder to myself to wear my red blazer
Funky blazer with color jeans
Opaque tights and shoes give a nice silhouette.
Partner a dainty blouse with statement earrings
Hard core
Soft dress with opaque tights, matching ankle boots and hardware jacket
Putting elbow pads on all of the sweaters I own IMMEDIATELY

I Went. I SHOPPED. I conquered.
The spelling in the title was on purpose. MJR Sales is in town and I love when they are. MJR Sales is based out of Columbus, but travels around the Ohio area where they open up an even further discounted store for about 4 days at a time. MJR is here from this past Thursday to Sunday (tomorrow).
I Went.
Yes, I went a couple of times. Because I never had a big bulk of time to really do the part of shopping that I like to do (the hunt), I had to "hunt" in spurts.
I SHOPPED.
I was able to take advantage of a few of the sales. Mostly I just enjoyed seeing the deals.
I conquered.
While I fought the urge to go back for a fourth time, I conquered the urge and didn't leave the house. There is such a thing as too much of a good thing.
Here are some of the things I saw.
