New jewelry holder

So, my hanger/ribbon idea was excellent until I continued to add new pieces. As I walked around the fabric store today this caught my eye. It is designed to hold and display spools of thread, but as I guessed it would it also is an excellent jewelry holder. If I really wanted to be creative I would have painted and decorated it. Yet, I like it all the same.

Your thoughts....

knock offs or prudent shopper versions?

It used to be pretty difficult to purchase a "legal" non-name brand item. Now you can find different versions of everything. I got these beads (that are extremely similar to Pandora beads) at an area bead store and chain store. Pandora deads run around $8 - $40 each bead. My strand was $4 and my cluster was $3. I like the bracelets and cannot afford them so I appreciate a less expensive version.

Going GREEN

Found some material for $1.50 a yard. Took two yards and made a tube dress. Yes, that means a $3 dress!

Dug in the bead bag and found a silver bracelet (.90), some old earring findings and green beads (free) and a new strand I grabbed awhile ago for .97. Put it all together and a dress and matching jewelry for less than $5.

An excellent example of going green in a wallet!

The hunt is on....

My BFF Pookie (opposed to my bff rhe-p) asked me to help search out affordable but cute sandals. Found all of these (to my surprise) at KMART. None were over $14.99. Think maxi dress or sun dress with a cute sandal, up-do, and a cute charm bracelet from Melange 4D. Cute and easy....perfect summer combo.Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile

Review

So I final thoughts about the carol's daughter hair milk....

It is a wonderful hair softner not so much a curl definer. For baby girl, I am in need of a moisturizer that springs the curls an make them more defined.

It has a wonderful smell and very little build up and if you want your hair soft as a feather the $20 per bottle is worth it.

It is okay to spectate!

I've been meaning to make a spectator (black and white) bracelet. I thought I'd add the o k beads for a touch of the unexpected, a hidden message and reminder it is indeed OK.

Wonderful summer buy!

Every year around this time we pull out this wonderful little kitchen gadget.... The slushy maker. It shaves ice to a cloud like substance and you add the typical grocery flavoring or spin it and add daiquiri mix. I think this was about $15 bucks and was a wonderful (cheap) buy for the summer!
