NYC trends

Here's some of the trends I saw while in NYC. Really pretty flowy materials and unapologetic summer attire. At home we dress in heavy materials cut for summer heat. Not so here. Fabrics and cuts invite warm temps.

Safe Travels OOTD

I get to support students as they travel to and participate in a conference this week. My outfit wasn't cute, but it fit the bill. I shared with one of the students to dress for your destination, which was my goal. Layers and comfort, but not to comfortable.

Feasible Combination or Odd Match

I saw this outfit on Polyvore and thought I'd try to recreate it with my tunic/dress from Old Navy. It's too short to be a dress and too long to be a shirt. It's odd but cute. I'm thinking I'll pair it with some shorts. We'll see.
