Something So Satisfying about a Sale (pic heavy)

I found out that MJR Sales (a traveling warehouse store for Victoria Secret, Lane Bryant, Fashion Bug, Chadwicks, and other stores) was in my city on the second day of its five day stay. It has been awesome looking at deals and watching my friends and family take advantage. I even saw the writer of one of my favorite blogs. I blurted out "I read your blog this morning!!!!!!" I was immediately mortified at my rookie, stalker style greeting. She was MORE than gracious. Here's some of the things that caught my eye while I was giddily making a fool of myself.

Perfect Combination

Who knew a jean jacket could get even better?  I saw this in Torrid yesterday and it made me pause. With its price tag I had to leave it there, but not before giving it the admiration it was due.  It's a faux leather denim jacket. Do you remember that game as a kid? Well, thats what most of my shopping has turned into... Me spying for the location of items I want or items I want to go on sale. Today, I saw both. Remember me talking about this just yesterday? Spied one on sale at my local Fashion Bug today. Satisfaction.

Sales are a priority

There's one more Sunday that gives you a teacher's discount at Lane Bryant of 15% happening one last Sunday this month.  Add that to the 25% you get when you join the text discounts coupled with the $25 off of $75 coupon makes this dress $34 plus tax and now doable in my shopping budget.

Redefining Business Dress

When looking through history fashion has changed and with it the definition of appropriate in different careers and venues. Currently, would you say the definition for appropriate business dress includes denim suits?  Now that denim comes in a variety of texture, colors, and material weight, is there a place for denim at work?
