Something So Satisfying about a Sale (pic heavy)

I found out that MJR Sales (a traveling warehouse store for Victoria Secret, Lane Bryant, Fashion Bug, Chadwicks, and other stores) was in my city on the second day of its five day stay. It has been awesome looking at deals and watching my friends and family take advantage. I even saw the writer of one of my favorite blogs. I blurted out "I read your blog this morning!!!!!!" I was immediately mortified at my rookie, stalker style greeting. She was MORE than gracious. Here's some of the things that caught my eye while I was giddily making a fool of myself.

FOUND THESE EXACT JEANS AND THEY FIT LIKE A GLOVE $7

$4 blazers

Two dresses similar to these

$6 shoes

Today's OOTD

I felt like being creative, cute, and comfy. In my head, I achieved that. In person, prolly not.

How are you feeling today????

I love you Mary Jane

I considered these until I tried them on. Their shape and heel shape made them odd looking. I used to have a simple black Mary Jane heel and I got rid of them. Oh well. The thrill of the hunt!

The Lost Angel (OOTD)

I enjoyed my close friend's birthday party. I admit I was nervous about taking off my jean jacket, but by the end of the night I had tapped into my inner Charlie's Angel. The dress pictures to be a little to big, but I'll take it up before getting rid of it. I love it just that much. Dress - Ashley Stewart (2009)
Shoes - ? (2006)
Jean jacket - Fashion Bug (2011)
Bangles - Charming Charlie (2011)

I spy with my little eye....

Do you remember that game as a kid? Well, thats what most of my shopping has turned into... Me spying for the location of items I want or items I want to go on sale. Today, I saw both. Remember me talking about this just yesterday? Spied one on sale at my local Fashion Bug today. Satisfaction.

Building Blocks

One of the things I try to stick to is building on what I already own. I keep an eye out for shoes, accessories and clothes that will make my closet a story and not a nightmare. I thought I'd share either what I made, bought regular price, or caught on clearance that made for nice additions to what I already had.

Remember I made this piece:

While at Charming Charlie's yesterday I saw this ring... PERFECT addition.

I bought these earrings years ago, and found this watch (yes, at CC again) and this ring there on clearance for $3. They look very nice with my new camel leather jacket.

These bracelets ($2 clearance at Fashion Bug) will also be great with pieces I already have.

The black and silver was a no brainer as much of my wardrobe is black and/or grey. I had my Charming Charlie watch in mind when I got the black and gold.

Lastly, I saw this ring at CC and loved it but searched and searched for earrings to no avail. So, I stopped by my local Jo Ann Fabric Store and for less than $5 bought the supplies to make my own.

What do you think?

Fashion Bug haul

Got these items last night at the bug of fashion. The items were 30% off the markdown and I had a coupon. So much for not shopping for yourself for the holidays. @--
